RLO Training Webinars

What exactly is a "webinar"?

A webinar is simply a fancy buzz-word to describe live, remote interaction. It is a contraction of the words "web" (a contraction of world-wide web) and "seminar". However, this makes the word "webinar"a misnomer as it applies to RLO Training's technique.

We don't do "seminars". Rather we do workshops. We sometimes use the word "webinar" only because most people understand what it means: through your web browser on the Internet is a truly live, interactive communication with real people. What we actually use is called a "Cloud Meeting" system.

Thus we ask you to understand: our Live Online Workshops are not recordings or slide-shows. They are genuine, interactive lessons presented in a "classroom" environment where you are present with the instructor and other workshop participants (students) and everything is dynamic, interactive and live with real people.

About RLO Training's "Live On-line"
Cloud Training.

What is LIVE Online Training?
Using advanced technology, attendees of the LIVE Online training sessions interact directly with RLO's instructors and other workshop participants. You see the presentation live on your computer as it is presented and interact with the instructor and other participants as you would in a classroom settin including question-and-answer scenarios.

Do I get any training materials (like workbooks) with these online classes?
Yes! All our training sessions are complete, including the provision of all materials you need. For webinar (Live Online) workshops, materials are provided in the universal standard Portable Document Format, or PDF. Any PDF reader can present and print (if desired) these documents including the Adobe Reader.

I didn't receive my materials, where do I get them?
In the case of webinar workshops, if you do not receive your training material by the day before your online session, please contact us immediately at 800.755.0988 so we can get them to you quickly.

Is it alright for other employees to participate in the online sessions?
Not only do we say "yes", we actually encourage the practice. Other staff in the shop may gather around and observe along with the enrolled participant who is paid for the session. However, only the enrolled participant will receive AMI credits.

What should I do if I miss an online training session?
We strongly encourage all participants to make every effort to not miss a training session. However, if you know you will not attend, please call Client Services at 800.755.0988 as soon as possible so we can make necessary adjustments and re-schedule you for another session. In the case of an unexpected absence, call us for instructions.

What are the minimum system requirements to participate in webinar online workshops?
