Introduction

Mission
The mission of the Bottom-Line Impact Groups® members is to acquire, share and implement the positive qualities of adaptability, teamwork and courage to become leaders, both personally and professionally, in the automotive repair industry.

Commitment
Each Bottom-Line Impact Group is comprised of up to 18 independent automotive repair shop owners. Each member has made a serious commitment to themselves and their peers to improve their business operations and profits and to becoming the most successful independent automotive repair business owners in the 2000's and beyond.

Teamwork
To accomplish these goals, each Group member commits to working as a part of the team to develop new, creative and innovative ideas; and then, implement those ideas in their businesses!

Qualification
Basically, any independent automotive mechanical repair shop owner interested in networking with enthusiastic, progressive business owners who embrace the ideas of improving their operation through commitment and continued improvement is eligible. If you are a dedicated individual and can make a commitment to invest time and energy to truly helping yourself, your family, your employees, and fellow Group members, then you are definitely a candidate!

History
The first Bottom-Line Impact Group (BLIG) was founded in 1991 by North America's top automotive management trainer Bob O'Connor. Over 175 repair shop owners belong to several Bottom-Line Impact Groups throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Facilitators
Trainers with extensive experience in our industry, such as Dan Gilley and John Wafler; serve as Facilitators for the Bottom-Line Impact Groups®. Regardless of who is facilitating a Group, their express goal is to coach you with a wide selection of problem-solving approaches. Facilitators not only help with the direction of the meetings, but also present training on a specific topic and provide high quality support materials – materials presented exclusively for Bottom-Line Impact Group members.
